We understand that each person would like to have their work schedule fit their unique lifestyle. At Thorne Crest, we would like to give you that opportunity. This applies to the evening shift (2:15 PM to 10:45 PM) and overnight shift (10:15 PM to 6:15 AM) only. Work a total of 5 evening or overnight shifts during the week and 1 weekend evening or overnight shift per month for a minimum total of 56 hours per month (you make pick up more shifts if you wish). The hourly rate of pay for LPN's is $22.00 and $30.00 for RN's (plus shift differentials and holiday pay!).

Prior to becoming Thorne Crest, part of the building was a Catholic school house, and, in fact, some of our current staff and residents attended school there. When Thorne Crest first opened, there were 40 nursing home beds and 100 Senior living apartments. Today we have 43 beds in the Health Center, a 9 bed Transitional Care Unit and 83 apartments. The apartments include independent senior living and Assisted Living, along with a 9 bed Memory Unit.
