The Rambler Classic of xxxx was an intermediate size car built by the newer American Motors Corporation. The 64 Classics were refined with stainless steel rocker moldings and a flush single plane aluminum grill. The xxxx also came with the new shift command three speed automatic transmission. Ours is the 4.7L V-8 engine. The Classic has the factory radio, and fold down seats. Ours is a 100% complete car, has good chrome, and runs, shifts and drives very, very well. Ours is a easy restoration, or would be a unique daily driver. These AMC Cars had design progresses that were way ahead of their time. Curved side glass on windows. AMC, was the earliest to do this.
